I love this thing, hook it to a pin loader and add weight, on a tree and hang at the crag, on your foot to warm up, for the money this is the best on the market. Shipped super fast had it in 3 days.

Currently on a rehabilitation plan for a hand injury I had 3 and a half months ago. This thing has been an absolute life saver. I bought it directly from Hoopers Beta, which is where my physical therapy plan came from as well. 10/10 recommended.

Customer photo review of The Port-A-Board

Hi there! I love the sizes on this training block. My only qualm is that it is not as finished as it looks in the photos. The one I received has some edges that are not sanded down with a few nicks that aren’t nice on the fingers. Other than that, I do enjoy the wide ranges on this block.

The Port-A-Board

Store owner replied: Hi Jaque, thanks for the review. I’m sorry about the rough edges on this one, it looks like it could have used a little more sanding. After the machining process, we smooth the outside with an orbital sander and touch up the inner edges by hand. Finally, we do a last quality inspection before shipping to customers. It looks like this one slipped through our inspection, sorry about that. I’m glad you’re psyched on it otherwise! If you want to smooth the edges a little more, some 200 grit sandpaper should do the trick. Feel free to reach out with any questions to mike@frictitiousclimbing.com -Mike

(Cosmetic defect) Great warm up tool for any crag, nice size that gives you a good range of hold to pull on, mine has 7 in total ranging from small crimps to a nice jug

Customer photo review of The Port-A-Board

Great job frictitiousclimbing! Port-a-board with sling and carabiner is the best finger strengthening tool that I have ever purchased. Extra sling is perfect. Much to be desired about the weaker carabiner they give you though. It seems as if it is better fit for holding your keys than heavier weight. Or so it seems. Therefore I replaced their black carabiner with one I purchased before for my armwrestling handles that I got at home depot instead. This is one of my new favorite pieces of equipment next to Devon Larratt’s judo belt for his pronation and riser exercises. I also have some other armwrestling handles that have blown up my forearms and hand strength as well. However this port-a-board directly stimulates muscles growth and strength in fingers and even the fingertips. I’m not into rock climbing yet looked around and was a bit pricey but I think I’ll try someday soon. Using this for my deadlift grip strength instead. I’m totally impressed at how much of a workout this gave my fingers. Afterwards they felt swollen and I completely see myself developing muscles in my fingers that I never saw before. This is because as of now my fingers are relatively slim and a limiting factor in deadlifting and my bent over barbell rows. Thank you frictitiousclimbing!

Store owner replied: Thanks for the awesome review Andrew, just so you're aware, both the sling AND carabiner are rated to 4,950 Lbs. So toss out your home depot carabiner and stick with the one we sent you ;)

Customer photo review of The Port-A-Board

Fantastic. I got the cosmetic defect model. The cosmetic defect is like a little burn mark. I honestly wouldn’t have really noticed it.

Works great! Unlike other portable boards, this one does not spin when you pull with only one hand.

The Port-A-Board

Gave this to our son who is a weightlifter and personal trainer as a Christmas gift. He reports it’s even better than he imagined. Highly recommend!

The Port-A-Board

The Port-A-Board

Store owner replied: Thanks for the review, Nicholas. It sounds like the Port-A-Board didn’t live up to expectations. While the Port-A-Board is one of our most popular products, we are always open to feedback for how we can improve. I’m reaching out via email to see where we went wrong and if there are any ways to simplify your specific setup. -Mike

I enjoy the 20 milimeter edge though I wish there was a guide on how to knot it.

The Port-A-Board

Store owner replied: Hey Jordan, thanks for the feedback. We're redoing some of our manuals, so its good to hear that a guide on how to tie the the knot would be useful. In the meantime, the knot we use is called a Fisherman's Knot. If you have any trouble with it, feel free to email me: mike@frictitiousclimbing.com -Mike

Works great, very portable

The Port-A-Board

the port-a-board has been an excellent addition to my rehab tools! I am a certified hand therapist, treating all hand injuries but specifically focusing on rehab for climbers. This has been a great way after the initial phases of rehab to bring them back safely and more precisely to speed with climbing without re-injury.

The Port-A-Board

Everything was perfect thx

The Port-A-Board

Works like a dream for warming up at the crag! Couldn’t have asked for a better crimp block

The Port-A-Board

I love it, hard to find portable hang board with bigger and small edges

The Port-A-Board

The photo of the carabinier on the website was different to the one I received. The website is a bit misleading. Not really a problem but thought you should know.

The Port-A-Board

Not a climber; just a grip strength athlete looking for a different way to train. I have no experience with other climbing training equipment, but this seems very nice for what it is. It does train my grip in a way that I’m not used to. Obviously has plenty of widths, and does function well. Looks cool too. I am very satisfied and glad I made the purchase.

The Port-A-Board

Excellent for home or work training

The Port-A-Board

As portable hang board go, the port-a-board is the undisputed goat of variety. It contains all different sizes of hold and types. However, I wouldn’t say it is the best. It Is slightly blocky. Bigger that e expected, and in all honesty, the different size Crimpd don’t make a big difference. If I were to be a portable hangboard again, I would definitely go for the stone one from nature climbing. It’s a little pricier, but it just looks and feels more practical
