I grew up in Colorado enjoying skiing, biking, and the outdoors. After earning a mechanical engineering degree at Colorado State University, I moved to Indiana for a job. It was there that I discovered rock climbing, and a trip to the Red River Gorge sparked my dedication to the sport.

In 2018, I launched Frictitious from a local maker space in Fort Collins, Colorado. What started as a personal project quickly grew into a community-focused brand. My goal was simple: to build a company that could provide innovative and accessible training solutions for climbers at every stage of their journey.
