You can use lots of hangboards with our Doorway Mount! If your hangboard fits on the mount, just screw it in.

We designed the Doorway Mount to evenly distribute the load across the doorway, with most of the weight resting on the front of the door rather than the trim. To protect the door, we include custom rubber pads specifically designed for the areas under the most pressure.

Very disappointed with this doorway mount and even more so with the customer service. The mount damaged my doorframe and despite the guarantee that if there were any issues they would ‘make it right’ they did nothing to make it right. No return shipping or even a partial refund because I am outside of the U.S. It was a very expensive mistake purchasing this. Would not recommend

Great hangboard door attachment. Great quality and looks clean. I sanded the edges to get more of a smooth feel.
Attached my Metolius Simulator 3D to the mount and train on it without any issues. I weigh 185 lbs and the Metolius weighs about12 lbs. Just a small amount of expected flex from the wood when I hang from it and I have no fear of anything failing. Solid product that lets me use my hangboard without damaging the walls of my rental house.

These things are absolutely amazing! Ended up getting the swap plate with two hold plates so I could put both the slopers and ball holds on along with the actual hang board. Being able to swap between all of the different holds and difficulties quickly makes this thing an absolute essential. And unlike other companies this doesn't take up nearly as much room and is very simple to unmount and move to other door frames when needed. For the price point, the quality, and the ease of usability this absolutely can't be beat.
New to climbing, this came highly recommended from my friends and the fine folks I watch on YouTube. I love having this at home. Not only is it better than the boards at my local gym, I don't have to share!

I would say this a 4.5 product. The cost and simplicity are 5 stars. The functionality is a 4, and in a large part driven by the nature of doorway mounts - they will always flex to a certain degree. Additionally, due to the design, for some hangboards, it's only possible to mount it at a specific height in order to avoid overlap with the structural holes in the plywood. I'm happy with the purchase. It's not the perfect product, but likely the best out there.
Wish I'd bought the door mount months ago, rather than messing about trying to screw it into a wall (and messing up said wall in the process). Great kit, easy to construct and install. Strongly recommend!

I’ve had the door way mount for about a year now and it hasn’t dissipated me one bit! It’s stayed strong and caused no damage to my door frames, and I love how easy it is to set up. Sadly you cannot close your door with it on, but it solves that with only two screws to get it on. You hook it, tighten it, and it’s ready to go. It’s also made with high quality wood and though it’s bulky, it looks pretty good. highly recommend :)
Completely overpriced. I would have expected that they would have at least spent 2 minutes to sand the rough edges, if only to make it so you don't get a splinter taking it out of the box. They saved money by only using one jig for the holders, so on one side it's only held in by friction. This is CNC, so they could have spent literally 1 minute to mirror the part and have a better design. And another 2 minutes to sand the edges. This is literally a piece of AA grade plywood straight out of the CNC and into a box. No extra effort at all. I'm SO glad I didn't buy their hang board too, I can't imagine it's quality if they couldn't spend any effort at all on this.

I can see some micro-details may have been missed on this small feature you photographed, thanks for pointing that out. We don't use "jigs" and there is no cost savings by keeping the brackets the same, the brackets are designed this way to simplify the assembly process for the end user - not having a left and right means you can't mix them up. The brackets aren't "friction" dependent, and properly tightening them is sufficient. I can ensure you the quality of our doorway mount and hangboards top line in the market. Love the mount. My doorway is nonstandard, and needed slightly longer hooks to work - Garret and the team were kind enough to cut and ship those on request. Now I see this every day when i walk into my office, and it reminds me to get a little hang in.

Very good so far, haven't used it lots yet due to pne of my A4 pulleys being a but tweaked, but am using it for some light loading and rehab, working well so far! It's very sturdy and doesn't damage the door! If you're fitting your own board though, finding the right sized screws can be tricky, but they are able to poke out the back a little due to the pin system on the back, that way you can adjust the board so the screws don't damage the wall/door frame either!
The doorway mount worked perfectly. Easy to attach and secure and doesn't budge when hanging or doing pull-ups. And, the team at Frictitious attached the hangboard to it for me. Overall, I'm very pleased with the purchase.

I’ve had this for maybe 2 years now and moved a lot and this thing stands the test of time. I recently moved and the pads on the back were old and peeling off. They also were black which suuuucked so I reached out to the customer service and they said they made white pads now so it doesn’t scuff the wall and they shipped them out to me super fast. It’s amazing how great customer service was. Like over all 10/10 would recommend to everyone. I got mine mounted by them and it hasn’t budged at all. I’m 6’3” 185 lbs. and it’s solid
Easy to assemble. No damage. I had a hang board gifted to me but didn’t want to attempt to mount into paper thin apartment walls, even with my 17 foot ceilings :humblebrag: simple five minute setup and I just screwed right into the backboard from frictitious — no complaints!
Works well & is solidly built. I had to get custom hooks and spacers because my doorway top trim height is higher than 6” and there are some bump outs on the frame that would keep it from sitting flat. I asked the customer support team if they could design one to fit my doorway and Garrett from the team was very quick to respond and build me custom hooks and spacers! Great product & great support staff. Thank you!

Very nice before sell service. I asked to be sure that the product will fit my thin walls and they answered me very fast. So for Europeans who has thin walls like me, just ask for thin walls custom hooks and they will send you additional hooks. I received the product in just a few days in France. Well set because I also bought a frictious hangboard and asked it to be installed and it is well done. The product is nice and sit well, feel secure, good quality. If like me you want to always leave it on the door frame, keep in mind that it takes more space than a typical pull-up bar and if you are taller than 1m80/6ft you may have to bend down to walk under it. Only bad point, it lacks a manual or at least a quick guide with a photo of the back of the product on the website to mount the system. It is not complicated at all but some explanations could be welcomed. I post a photo so a future buyer can see how to mount the system.
Shipped fast and was super easy to setup! I was worried I'd have issues since my place is an older rental, but the mounting hardware is very versatile and I found a configuration that fits snugly. Can't wait to start training at home - and show it off, it looks fantastic!
Great product! I don’t have much space between my doorframe and the ceiling so I needed something that allows me to place my hangboard lower. The door mount came in handy and I’m surprised how stable it is. It’s also made from quality materials and looks good. Happy 😊
I received the Door Mount and Accessory plate for Christmas, and then got myself the Megalith. The team at FrictitiousClimbing was even nice enough to honor the 20% off bundle deal. The whole thing was super easy to assemble, overall feels very sturdy and I appreciate the thought of including “pads” to protect from scuffs. The wood is high quality, I honestly find the whole thing aesthetically pleasing so it stays up 24/7, like a piece of art. Definitely going to be getting a ton of use out of this!

I live in an older building so my doorframe didn’t meet the required measurements. I emailed and they were able to make custom hooks that allowed the doorframe mount to still work in my apartment! The team was super helpful and responsive via email, and my hangboard is working great!
As a renter, permanently mounting a hangboard is simply a non-starter. This mount was the perfect solution, enabling at-home training without having to worry about damaging doors or walls. I take it down after every session and have yet to have issues. I did have a small issue with the rubber pads that come with the mount and found that the crew at Frictitious is so easy to work with. Would recommend for those who cannot or are unwilling to drill!
