Just got them. First impression is that they are very easy on the fingers and complement my other grips very nicely.

Customer video review of Unlevel Edge 2.0

New to this so it may take some time to develop muscles and strength in my fingers. Yet already moving up in weight with this unlevel edge 2.0. Even though you can lift more weight with this I think I should take it slower as I pulled my forearm with an armwrestling exercise. I’m addicting to this now as I feel my hand and fingers growing every day. Soon I’ll have to buy another ring to replace my wedding ring.

Customer video review of Unlevel Edge 2.0

Directly stimulates muscle growth and builds strength in the fingers. Day or two after from using they feel sore as if they are repairing and regrowing new muscles. Think I might have to start with a little lighter weight and build up first. Maybe focus more on hypotrophy first rather than muscle strength. Build the muscles up in my fingers first before ego lifting since this is new to me. First time using or doing any rockclimbing exercises. Really surprised how this unlevel edge 2.0 is transforming my hand and fingers into meat cleavers or a cast iron hand.

Customer photo review of Unlevel Edge 2.0

Fingers are getting direct work out from this. Can work your forearm also. Definitely can lift more weight as I was at 55lbs and 60lbs yet that might be ego lifting since I still have got to develop the muscles in my fingers. Therefore I went down to 50lbs and 40lbs for more hypertrophy work. I’m a boxer who was using this to increase my grip strength for my deadlifting workouts. Yet these exercises make me feel like my hand, fingers are now a cast iron grip or brass knuckles. I never had this kind of strength before. I wasn’t aware that you could develop this kind of size and strength in your fingers, hand and forearm before. Thanks frictitiousclimbing for the assistance getting the extra carabiner and sling also. And yah, since I’m new to this you helped me learn more. Thanks.

Customer photo review of Unlevel Edge 2.0

Note: I'm personally a fan of the "unlevel edge" movement. My fingers don't fit well on a flat edge, and as soon as I used this I knew it would be more effective. Training on a flat 20mm edge strict half crimp has always flared up synovitis in my middle finger DIP joints, and never targeted my ring fingers effectively (specific to my finger morpho) After getting coordinated on this thing, theoretically training on the unlevel edge will smooth out the engagement between the fingers. It will feel WEIRD pulling onto this thing for the first time, especially if you're coming from training on some kind of flat edge. You'll know immediately which fingers will need some work. It actually feels like an outdoor hold in a way, since it's very uneven. After messing around with this thing for a bit, I found the most effective thing for me was to just do finger curls with this edge with a medium light weight every day. Instead of increasing the weight as it got easier, I would just curl with teams of fingers instead of all four. (Front three, back three, front two back two, etc) After a few months, my forearms were noticeably more vascular, and I could feel my fingers being much more resilient. Now, do the gains transfer back to a regular 20mm edge? In my case (n=1), they did. Quite a lot actually. I tracked my progress on a yielding isometric flat 20mm pull on the tindeq over the course of the three-ish months. Included a picture because I thought it was pretty unreal (I weigh around 156 lbs). YMMV of course

Unlevel Edge 2.0

Really feel my forearm and all fingers engaging properly with this. Wish I got this sooner

Unlevel Edge 2.0

Found out my index finger and pinky are weaker. Great way to actually train all fingers.

Unlevel Edge 2.0

Awesome! Love the way this feels.

Unlevel Edge 2.0

Good for variety to reduce repetitive strain.

Unlevel Edge 2.0

Works great, fit my fingers well.

Unlevel Edge 2.0

I already feel a difference in my pinky! Really happy to have discovered this. I wasn’t even aware I was dropping my pinkies in yo a drag when I was training half crimp. This tool makes it so much easier.

Unlevel Edge 2.0

This is so much more comfortable than a standard 20mm pocket, and although you won’t find climbing holds like this in nature or an indoor wall, this allows you to more effectively train finger strength while lowering chances of injury, and those gains will carry over to climbing.

Unlevel Edge 2.0

Lifting with this thing feels like a cheat code! My pinky and ring fingers, which generally don’t get worked as hard in a half-crimp, are feeling super strong/resilient. I can do 8 sets of lifts before climbing without feeling tweaky (no hyper extension) and it actually is a great way to get fully recruited.

Unlevel Edge 2.0

Definitely points out which fingers are weak. Great, lightweight for travel and the crag

Unlevel Edge 2.0

Very happy except for this required review.

Unlevel Edge 2.0

It's good. I wish the middle and ring finger pads were a bit wider. Otherwise no complaints

Unlevel Edge 2.0

Feels like the best and safest solution for rehabbing injured fingers. Love warming up with it prior to climbing.

Unlevel Edge 2.0

The main thing is it trains all fingers equal, and that is huge!

Unlevel Edge 2.0

This training tool is allowing more ergonomic PT of a torn extensor tendon, as well as strengthening my 1/2 crimp core strength. Love it!

Unlevel Edge 2.0

Loading feels far more equal across all fingers than with a flat edge. Normally, to get even load through all four fingers, I’m pretty much required to put my wrist into an unnatural position. With the ‘Unlevel Edge’ my wrist remains in a comfortable, neutral position. Can feel it in the pinky and index more than on a flat edge so definitely building up to my flat edge weight slowly since it’s probably the first time my pinkies have ever been truly loaded throughout a hang/lift. Highly recommend for even finger recruitment/engagement when training.

Unlevel Edge 2.0

Good adjunct to training- great for low intensity recruitment days to keep the neuromuscular connection going but also just as good for heavy pulling! Love the asymmetric design and how it loads the fingers more evenly/equally.

Unlevel Edge 2.0

Great training tool. Currently rehab-ing after chronic PIP capsulitis and this edge has worked wonders

Unlevel Edge 2.0

Great! Comfy to pull, easy to switch hands.

Unlevel Edge 2.0

Helped strengthen my fingers, which in turn reduced some finger pain I had.

Unlevel Edge 2.0

The Unlevel Edge is a great training tool made even better by its versatility. I've found it useful as a super portable warmup tool for outdoor climbing, as it's got a lot less weight than the heavy wooden blocks you're used to seeing. It's a little hard on the index and pinky fingers at first since it trains your grip in a new way, but the long term benefits are certainly worth it.

Unlevel Edge 2.0

Feels great I use it as a cable attachment at the gym to do single arm rows.

Unlevel Edge 2.0

Surprisingly really good training device

Unlevel Edge 2.0

I like the feel of it

Unlevel Edge 2.0

The pad for the middle finger is a little too narrow. If it was the same width as the pads for the pointer and ring it would be perfect. As is my middle finger overhangs the sides of the pad and this is uncomfortable when lifting weight exceeding 100 lbs.

Unlevel Edge 2.0

I'm psyched to have this in my toolbox. I have longer than normal fingers so training really heavy on something other than a standard 20mm is a welcome change of pace.

Unlevel Edge 2.0

Makes training all of my fingers more powerful and more even so that I can recruit them more effectively on the wall. Great training tool.

Unlevel Edge 2.0

I am loving the Frictitious unlevel climbing edge. As a Physical Therapist who treats climbers, I am stoked to have such an awesome and high-quality training and rehab tool.

Unlevel Edge 2.0

Really nice product, fits my knuckles space perfectly

Unlevel Edge 2.0

Fits my hand perfect and was exactly what I needed for training

Unlevel Edge 2.0

I am 66 yrs old and have been climbing for 46 of them. Have had more injuries than most people. My fingers are getting stronger, finally. Fantastic device, highly recommended, ergonomically correct. Let's me pull / train harder (not really that hard). I did climb and down climb a 12a two weeks ago, it's been minute since I did that. Just get one. Tupp

Unlevel Edge 2.0

really lets you know which fingers are lacking
