The DoorMount Pro is designed to fit most doorways, but to ensure it will work for your space, here are the measurements.
Top trim must be less than 5.5 inches (139.1mm) in height.
There must be more than 2.87 inches (73mm) of clearance between the top of the trim and the ceiling.
Top trim must be less than 4.6 inches (116.6mm) in height.
There must be more than 4.5 inches (115mm) of clearance between the top of the trim and the ceiling.
The doorway needs to be less than 9 inches (228.6mm) at its thickest point.
Trim thickness needs to be between .25 inches (6mm) and 1.2 inches (30mm).
Most doorways are structural and will support the DoorMount Pro.
The DoorMount Pro uses your door trim only for positioning and alignment, not for bearing weight. The holding power comes from tightening the thumb knob, which compresses the mount against the wall above the doorway. This creates a rigid clamping force into the structural framing (the header and studs) behind the drywall.
If there is any movement, just tighten the thumb knob until the board feels like it's bolted into the wall.

It has helped me build strength , I think I will soon be able to contemplate rock climbing, I see a difference in hang and pull-up ability already, in 3 weeks. Just a little worried it might come loose as the board seems to move a lot more during my pull ups. Maybe I need to tighten it a lot more

Love the design, size, and feel of the holds! I had a bit of a bad time with the delivery the last bit of the way (FedEx barely exists here in Sweden) but I can’t really blame Frictitious for that. The board has everything you need really. I am mostly using the 20 and 15 mm edges for finger training and the holds feel great! I’m planning on doing some weighted pull-ups on the jugs and my impression is that the design is very stable and will easily hold quite a bit of additional weight. My girlfriend who is not a climber always said that the various door mounted hang board options were too big, bulky, and too much of an eye-sore so I never got one. This one however is small and discreet enough that it got approved and I couldn’t be happier! 5/5 stars, easy.
I love how easy this is to set up & how rock-solid it is without any drilling! I've already moved it around the house a few times & it leaves no marks or anything. Super-sleek and even though I got the cosmetic defect version, I couldn't find anything other than a small mark on the front. I've been climbing for 4 years but am new to hang boarding, so the large variety of widths is perfect for me. 10/10!
Love it! Works great, easy assembly and can be taken down/put up/moved as needed. Better than other doorframe systems. All my doorways I would put a board the door swings out so the other systems that have the side rails don’t work unless I remove the door. This one works perfect, I love it
While the doormount itself was great… after taking it off, it removed the plaster from the wall. I don’t know how or why. I tightened it as much as I could to hold my weight. Had no problems. Then removed it to travel and it turns out to have damaged the wall. Pretty disappointed if I’m going to be honest. Makes me hesitant to use it again.

Stable and easy to setup, can have pull up during work
Excellent quality and elegant design! Easy to install. It exceeded our expectations.
Unfortunately the courier messed up the entire outside of the box. But only a tiny micro scratch on the product itself as it was properly packaged. Frictitious even suggested good ways of handling it which I declined as there was no need. Product itself is wonderful, arms hurts from training constantly now. 10/10, would order again.

Been only about a month that I’ve had this doormount pro five yet I can now do pull ups on the slopers and jugs. Still having a little trouble on the edges as I’m lucky if I can bang out one clean pull up on that. Mainly just hanging from that to work my fingers. Forearms are jacked now as ever. Fingers are getting stronger and slightly bigger also. Not a rock climber but this is the best investment I made for workout equipment.
My initial product I got sent ended up having a faulty bracket. The team messaged me very soon after and very quickly dispatched out the replacement part, which ended up fixing the issue I had. That issue being the bracket that goes on the wall ended up having too sharp of a point which would push through the backing rubber and have the possibility of creating a sharp pressure point on the wall. I've since used the replacement bracket and have had no such issues taking the hang board on and off multiple times a day. Really well made product and the support has been really good by the team (Joel) , would highly recommend. And if you think you have a faulty product just reach out to the team.

I'm very impressed with this beautifully crafted piece of gear. The clamping mechanism is so simple to use and totally sturdy once mounted. The hangboard with its large radius edges is super comfy. The perfect piece of equipment if you need to train while traveling or if you just can't mount a board in your home.
Not a rock climber but do this to increase forearm and grip strength. This has been developing my finger strength and size. New to this so this will take some time. Definitely worth the investment. Will translate to my other sports.
I don’t do rock climbing so this is new to me. The port-a-board and unlevel edge 2.0 has increased my finger strength and size. This hangboard is definitely going to be a challenge for me. Well worth it. Great investment as the other equipment I got from frictitiousclimbing has giving more strength and size already. I think this is really going to help get me to another level for my sports.

This board is SOLID! And genuinely leaves no marks on the walls or doorframes. It’s so refreshing to use a hangboard that doesn’t bend or swing when I use it. However, you really need to check the ceiling clearance above your doorframe. Measure and be sure. Frictitious are improving season upon season. Good job lads.
Works awesome! Quality is great, shipping was fast, nothing to complain! Only thing I'd be missing is a hold plate compatible with this Doormount, so I can have Ball Grips/Slopers as well.

It’s SOLID!! The previous iteration of the doormount still bent and creaked under body weight pressure. This however doesn’t budge at all. I have yet to try using it with added weight, but I’m confident in the rigidity of this construction.
The DoorMount Pro is an absolute lifesaver for training through an injury. With a broken ankle, it's currently not possible for me to install a hangboard in my current location, and even if I could I wouldn't be able to do it alone. The easy install of the DoorMount Pro allows me to do it on one foot, opening up the door to training possibilities I wouldn't have had otherwise. The craftsmanship of the board is top notch, and I love how simple it is; rather than cramming as many holds onto the board as possible, the slimmer design helps with overall portability without sacrificing any use cases you would normally have. Can't recommend this board enough, it's a real gem.
Beyond satisfied with this board and its innovative mounting system. It goes up super fast and looks really stylish. The wood feels really nice under your fingertips, smooth but not slippery, and I really like the chosen selection of depths available. I'm especially impressed by the asymmetric design which means you're always hanging at the same width no matter which edge you're using. I also love the fact that the jug rail extends across the whole length of the top of the board, so you can choose your most comfortable grip width - it makes it great for pull ups, front levers, leg raises etc. Overall just incredibly impressed with the thought that has gone into this design and its general overall high quality!
What a brilliant idea and execution. For years I’ve waited for something like this. Goes up and down in seconds, no damage to door trim, portable, super solid once it’s up. Price is high but it’s totally worth it. I got the Pro 7 and am using it daily for no-hang sessions and pull-up work. So many possibilities on this thing.
I put it on a support beam so I can watch TV while I hangboard. I've used it everyday for about two weeks now and haven't had any slips .

This shows that off that clamping power in an awesome way, however, to ensure no slipping or movement, we don't recommend using the DoorMount Pro without any trim. This little hardboard is perfect for me! I live in an apartment, which means no drilling holes in the wall. I also apparently have very wide doors. This meant that I was having a really hard time finding a cantilever design that was wide enough to work with my door, couldn’t even find a pull up bar that was wide enough. Enter the Hangboard Pro 5. With its clamp design it fits my wide doors, and leaves zero marks on my walls. I have used it pretty regularly for a few days now, and took it down to make sure it wasn’t leaving any marks from where the wood clamps to the wall, not a mark to be seen. I love the thought of being able to upgrade to the 7 when I develop a bit more as a climber. And it sounds like potential future models will be available as well. It looks great in my home too. It has an almost modern-artsy appeal to it. Very slick. I find myself admiring it from the couch, and I’m having a hard time NOT doing a quick 15 second hang when I go into my bedroom. It’s right there, so might as well, right? One final note is just how sturdy this thing is. As soon as I pull up, it feels like I’m hanging on the wall at my climbing gym. I’m confident this thing is going nowhere. If you’re on the fence about this, or even a little bit interested, I say go for it. You will not be disappointed.

Hangboard is great! Easy to put up and down
I have been using this product for a couple months now and I am very happy with it. Everything feels stable. It never moved even with added weights. Since shipping to Europe is quite expensive (that is my only critique and I don’t know if you can change something about that) I contacted the support about some questions I had before buying and they were very extraordinarily friendly, fast and helpful and really tried to figure out if the product will fit my doorframe. For that matter if you are from germany: if you live in an ‘Altbau’ where not everything has 90 degree angles, the door mount pro can handle slight irregularities but they should not be too big.

Very epic. Price kinda steep but worth it over the long run. Easy set up, no damage to door frame or wall. Doesn’t move when I use it. Would recommend.

I love the design, but most of all I love how it really grips the wall and doesn't rely much on the doorframe, cause my doorframes are super fragile and I was worried any frame-reliant hangboard would break it. I am renting so this is really the best option and I'm happy I chose it. Both me and my partner (85 and 65kg) use it regularly now with no problems.
